AMCs With Live SIF Schemes
Each AMC operates its SIF business under a distinct brand, separate from its regular mutual fund identity. Here are the 17 fund houses with live SIF schemes, with the schemes listed in AMFI's strategy documents (34 in total, matching AMFI's count at 30 September 2026):

New Launches and NFOs
Beyond the 34 schemes above, AMFI's strategy documents show new offers opening or just closed:
- Tata Mutual Fund (Titanium SIF) — Titanium Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund, NFO 23 September to 7 October 2026.
- Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund — MSIF Equity Long-Short Fund, NFO 30 September to 14 October 2026 (per Angel One).
- Invesco Mutual Fund (Summit SIF) — Summit Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund, NFO 12 to 26 October 2026.
- AlphaGrep Mutual Fund — Eminence Hybrid Long-Short Fund, NFO 14 to 28 October 2026. AlphaGrep is a new SIF entrant; with Mahindra Manulife, third-party trackers now count 19 fund houses and 38 strategies.
Mahindra Manulife and the Invesco Summit Active Asset Allocator offer were confirmed from Angel One's NFO listings and may not yet appear in AMFI's 34-scheme count. This list may still miss a very recent NFO. We previously listed DSP Mutual Fund (Endurance SIF) and HDFC Mutual Fund as approved but not yet launched. We could not confirm a strategy document for either on AMFI, so check their status with AMFI or the AMC directly.
Strategy Categories Represented
SEBI defines seven possible SIF categories across equity, debt and hybrid buckets. As of 30 September 2026, live schemes span five of these (AMFI):
- Equity Long-Short — the largest category by scheme count: 12 schemes, ₹4,216 crore (11.0% of assets)
- Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short — targets mid and small-cap alpha outside the largest 100 stocks: 7 schemes, ₹7,595 crore (19.8%)
- Hybrid Long-Short — the largest category by AUM: 11 schemes, ₹23,957 crore (62.6% of assets)
- Active Asset Allocator Long-Short — dynamic allocation across equity, debt and derivatives: 3 schemes, ₹2,456 crore (6.4%)
- Sector Rotation Long-Short — concentrated, rotating sector bets with short hedges: 1 scheme, ₹62 crore (0.2%)

How to Actually Invest in One
Unlike mutual funds, SIF availability on regular investment apps is still uneven. Some AMCs run a dedicated SIF platform entirely separate from their mutual fund website (for example, Altiva SIF and Magnum SIF have their own portals), while third-party platforms are gradually adding SIF support. Before investing, check the specific AMC's SIF website directly, or look up the scheme on AMFI's SIF section for current availability and the exact minimum investment and transaction process for that AMC.
