The replay lab: a time machine for your money
Real Indian market history, virtual money. You will not know which period you are in or what happens next. Decide what to buy, sell or ignore, and at the end see how your choices compare.
How it works
- You start with ₹10,00,000 of virtual cash and one virtual Nifty 50 index fund. Fractions of a unit are allowed.
- Every trade happens at that day's real closing level. Each buy or sell costs 0.10% (an illustrative figure for brokerage, taxes and charges).
- Uninvested cash earns nothing. No tax is applied. The price index leaves out dividends.
- Blind mode (on by default) hides the dates and shows the market as an index starting at 100, so you cannot look up what happens next. Real investors never can.

Benchmarks use the same costs. Buy and hold puts all ₹10 lakh in on day 1. The auto-invest benchmark splits it into equal instalments every 20 trading days.
